Abstract

A 1.9 μm fiber gas Raman converter is reported for the first time. A low loss hydrogen-filled hollow-core negative curvature fiber is pumped with a 1064 nm microchip laser, generating a 1907 nm output with quantum conversion efficiency >48%.
