Opportunities for Bandwidth-on-Demand between Large Datacenters

Abstract

Cloud computing has numerous use cases requiring bursts of inter-cloud bandwidth while maintaining a lower average network utilization. We describe the applications driving these requirements and network programmability from a cloud service provider perspective.
