Abstract

A novel detection scheme for N-OTDM signal with coherent matched sampling is proposed to suppress inter-symbol-interference. 9 dB required-OSNR improvement is observed under 3.9 ps pulse-width in 160 Gbaud proof-of-concept experiment compared with Gaussian-shaped sampling.
