Large-Scale Optical-switch Prototype Compactly Implemented with Novel Functional Configuration

Abstract

We propose a novel optical-switch architecture that can be compactly implemented with novel functional configuration. A highly-integrated 180×180 optical switch prototype is fabricated using PLC technologies and its good performance is experimentally confirmed.
