Direct-Detection PDM-OFDM RoF System for 60-GHz Wireless MIMO transmission without Polarization Tracking

Abstract

This work experimentally demonstrates a 60-GHz direct-detection PDM-OFDM system without polarization tracking at the receiver. A BER of 3.8×10−3 was achieved with all states of polarization over 10-km fiber and 3-m wireless MIMO transmission.
