Non-intrusive In-band OSNR Measurement of Polarization Multiplexed Signals Operating in the Non-Linear Regime

Abstract

We introduce a non-intrusive OSNR measurement technique relying on spectral deformation analysis which is suitable for densely provisioned polarization-multiplexed signals operated in the nonlinear regime. We demonstrate its performance over a wide range of conditions.
