Broadband Fiber Optical Parametric Amplifier Formed by Two Pairs of Four-Wave Mixing in a Tellurite Microstructured Optical Fiber

Abstract

A tellurite microstructured fiber-based optical parametric amplification has been achieved by utilizing two pairs of four-wave mixing. A high peak gain of ~102 dB can be obtained in a broadband from 1424 to 1459 nm.
