1Tb/s Real-Time 4×40Gbaud DP-16QAM Superchannel using CFP2-ACO Pluggables over 625 km of Standard Fibre

Abstract

CFP2-ACO pluggables are used for the first real-time transmission of a 1Tb/s superchannel consisting of 4×40 Gbaud 50 GHz spaced DP-16QAM channels. Error free transmission is demonstrated over 6×104 km of G.652 fibre with 92 neighbouring 100 G channels.
