Abstract

We demonstrate a real-time 25-Gb/s TDM-PON prototype system with 25-Gb/s optical duobinary for downstream and 10-Gb/s burst-mode NRZ for upstream, achieving 34.5-dB loss budget, 20-km SSMF reach with 1:512 splitting, and multi-user MAC layer processing.
