Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 28 Gb/s/λ TDM PON based on bandwidth limited NRZ modulation. By using narrow filter compensation and enhanced FEC with an optimal overhead, 26.5 dBm receiver sensitivity of is achieved in the C band after 20 km downstream transmission.
