Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate 25-Gb/s downstream transmission over 20-km SSMF in a Faster-than-Nyquist PON with 10G-class optics based on pre-distorted NRZ, achieving -26 dBm receiver sensitivity and over 31 dB loss budget without any optical amplification.
