A 60-GHz RoF System Employing Variable Step Size LMS Equalizer with Fast Convergence Speed

Abstract

A 60-GHz RoF system transmitting 5-Gbps BPSK signal employing LMS equalizer is experimentally demonstrated. Results prove that the variable-step-size LMS equalizer can significantly enhance the BER performance of the system with faster convergence speed.
