Abstract

We propose spectrally-efficient quasi-SSB PAM signaling for IM/DD DWDM links, and show its quality and feasibility by simulations and experiments. A 25-GHz-spaced 4-ch WDM transmission of 74.67-Gbit/s Nyquist-PAM4 signals (SE=2.99) over 20-km SMF is demonstrated.
