Strongly-Coupled Two-LP-mode Ring-Core Fiber with Optimized Index Profile Considering S-bend Model

Abstract

The mode coupling efficiency of ring-core fiber can be increased by optimizing the fiber structure parameter considering an S-bend model. The coupling coefficient is successfully controlled using ring-core fiber fabricated with Aeff of 290 μm2.
