Abstract

We compared OFDM and filter-bank multicarrier (FBMC) with time-frequency modulation adaptation in a centralized fiber-wireless integrated mobile fronthaul system supporting 5G. Experimental results demonstrate that FBMC outperforms OFDM with higher throughput and better modulation-adaptation performance.
