Converged Mobile Fronthaul and Passive Optical Network Based on Hybrid Analog-Digital Transmission Scheme

Abstract

Fiber transmission of simultaneous 120×20 MHz LTE-like fronthaul signals for mobile users and 2.5 Gb/s baseband signal for wireline users are experimentally demonstrated for broadband access based on hybrid analog-digital transmission approach.
