Abstract

Nyquist-mPPM-QPSK modulation format is proposed with high power efficiency and doubled spectrum efficiency compared with mPPM-QPSK, in particular, a 1.3dB power efficiency advantage over QPSK using Nyquist-4PPM-QPSK is demonstrated under the same spectrum efficiency.
