Time-Dependent Crosstalk from Multiple Cores in a Homogeneous Multi-Core Fiber

Abstract

We investigate the time-dependence of crosstalk in homogeneous multi-core fibers originating from multiple interfering cores. We observe that increasing the number of interacting cores increases the frequency of crosstalk fluctuations by an order of magnitude.
