Fabrication of Multi Core Fiber by Using Slurry Casting Method

Abstract

We fabricated a 7-core fiber using a slurry casting method with highly pure SiO2 powder as a starting material. The minimum loss was 0.25 dB/km and the crosstalk was −33.4 dB/100 km.
