Demonstration of Data-rate and Power-budget Adaptive 100 Gb/s/ λ-based Coherent PON Downlink Transmission

A data-rate and power-budget controlled 100 Gb/s/ λ-based coherent PON downlink using 16-dimensional optical resource mapping and I/Q-imbalanced modulation has been demonstrated. We show 0.9 dB power-budget improvement for 25 Gb/s/ONU 80-km transmission.
