Photonic Integrated Circuit Using Lanthanum-Modified Lead Zirconate Titanate Thin Films

Abstract

We fabricated a novel photonic integrated circuit using a lanthanum-modified lead zirconate titanate thin film. An optical modulator operating up to 50 Gb/s and a variable attenuator were successfully integrated on the PLZT thin film.
