4×200Gb/s Twin-SSB Nyquist Subcarrier Modulation WDM Transmission over 160km SSMF with Direct Detection

Abstract

We demonstrate a spectrally-efficient 4×200Gb/s WDM transmission based on twin-SSB Nyquist subcarrier modulation with signal-signal beat interference cancellation. The BER achieves 6.5×10-3 (<20% HD-FEC) after 160km SSMF transmission.
