Segment Routing for Network Optimizations

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Segment Routing (SR) simplifies network design and operations, enabling opex reduction in networks. SR achieves this simplification through the increased utilization of available bandwith and elimination of distributed protocols such as LDP and RSVP-TE. Optimization around capacity during link failures with Tactical SR-TE, will be discussed.
