Coordinating Multi-access Edge Computing with Mobile Fronthaul for Optimizing 5G End-to-End Latency

Abstract

In 5G, latency-sensitive traffic might be processed directly at central-offices by Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) right after being transported through Mobile Fronthaul (MFH). We investigate how to optimize end-to-end latency by coordinating MEC with MFH.
