Real-Time Demonstration of Polarization-Multiplexed PAM using a Compact Silicon Photonics Device

We experimentally demonstrate doubling capacity per wavelength using polarization-multiplexed PAM and direct-detection polarization recovery using a compact silicon photonic integrated device. Moreover, we present fundamental theoretical curves for PM-PAM performance.
