Selective Mark or Space Level Amplitude Regeneration Using Blue Chirp Spectral Slicing in a QD-SOA

Abstract

We present a selective amplitude regeneration of mark or space level using spectral slicing in a QD-SOA. By controlling the input signal power, we achieve significant regeneration effect specialized for either mark or space level.
