Hybrid fiber-optical/THz wireless transmission of 16 GBd 16-QAM is demonstrated over 20 km of fiber. Transmission of 50 Gb/s net rate is achieved using low-cost IM/DD optics and wireless front-ends operating at 306 GHz.
