Abstract

We investigate the benefit of entropy-loading for digital multicarrier systems operating under colored noise conditions induced by transceiver impairments. We demonstrate up to 0.35 dB Q2-factor gain for 1 Tb/s capacity with 8-subcarrier 125 GBd PCS-256-QAM.
