Hybrid-Integrated 400G TROSA Module and Its Performance Evaluation Using PAM4 DSP Chip

Abstract

We report on performance evaluation of a hybrid-integrated 4×100G TROSA module using a PAM4 DSP chip. Stable transmission and reception of 106-Gbps/λ PAM4 signals are demonstrated, fully satisfying the 400G-LR4 MSA specifications.
