Fast optical frequency detection techniques for coherent distributed sensing and communication systems

Abstract

We present techniques for detecting fast optical frequency variations with high spectral resolution for coherent detection based distributed sensing and communication systems, for which conventional spectral measurement techniques cannot meet the speed and spectral resolution requirements.
