Optimal deployments of 400 Gb/s multihaul CFP2-DCO transponders in transparent IPoWDM core networks

Abstract

By comparing different strategies for deploying pluggable CFP2-DCO transponders interconnecting 400 Gb/s ports of distant IP routers in core WDM networks, we identify the one minimizing the number of required IP ports and/or of transponders per Gb/s.
