High Speed RGB Visible Light Communication (VLC) Using Digital Power-Domain Multiplexing (DPDM) of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed (OFDM) Signals

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a record 21 red-green-blue (RGB) laser-diode (LD) visible-light-communication (VLC) using digital-power-domain-multiplexing (DPDM) of orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexed (OFDM) signals. 21.01-Gbit/s RGB DPDM-OFDM VLC transmission is achieved.
