Low-Loss Wide-FSR Miniaturized Racetrack Style Microring Filters for ⩾1 Tbps DWDM

Abstract

We demonstrate add-drop microring filters based on 180° varied-width hybrid Euler bends, suitable for supporting >Tbps DWDM. We measure FSR>40nm, 0.64nm/mW thermal tuning efficiency, and ILo f f ⩽ 0.02dB across the C- and L-bands.
