Demonstration of Polar Coded Truncated Probabilistic Shaped 64-QAM Transmission over 2000-km G.654E Fiber

Abstract

In this paper, a polar coded truncated probabilistic shaped 64-QAM (PTPS-64QAM) scheme is proposed and investigated over the G.654E fiber. Results show that about 2000-km transmission could be achieved aided by the novel proposed scheme.
