A more than 20 Mrad/s speed RSOP monitoring method with large PMD tolerance in optical coherent communication systems

Abstract

We propose a RSOP monitoring method, integrated in DSP of the coherent receiver, which can reach the RSOP speed of more than 20Mrad/s with tolerance for residual CD and large PMD along with second PMD.
