An Acousto-Optic Modulator Based High Performance Optical Switch for Quantum Technology in Fiber Communication Band

Abstract

We demonstrate an optical switch based on the interferometric enhancement of acousto-optic diffraction. The high transmitting efficiency of 92% and the high isolation of 74 dB make it a powerful tool for quantum technology.
