DSP-enhanced Radio-over-fiber Xhaul Networks Toward Beyond-5G

Abstract

We review recent progress on candidate DSP-enhanced radio-over-fiber techniques for Xhaul networks targeting 5G and beyond. Low-latency real-time link and layer-2 networking demonstrations will be discussed.
