Abstract

Absence of electromagnetic interference, electrical insulation, easy handling and miniaturization are well-known advantages of optical fiber sensors. In particular in the medical field [1-5] , optical fiber sensors have undergone a great development, also because they can allow measurements of parameters otherwise undetectable.
