ULTRA-LOW-CROSSTALK POLARIZATION MAINTAINING OPTICAL FIBER COUPLER

Abstract

The experimental evaluation of polarization-maintaining optical fiber couplers fabricated by polishing technique is described. The couplers show polarization crosstalk of less than -30dB and small wavelength dependence of splitting ratio.
