Wavelength Division and Spatial Multiplexing of Bragg Grating Sensor Networks using Concatenated Interferometers

Abstract

We present a new method for interrogating large arrays of Bragg grating sensors. Wavelength division and spatial multiplexing is implemented with concatenated Fabry-Perot and Mach-Zehnder interferometers, allowing for high resolution dynamic and static phase measurements.
