Resonator Fiber Optic Gyro using Digital Serrodyne Modulation

Abstract

A closed-loop operation of Resonator Fiber Optic Gyro, using digital serrodyne modulation for feedback to the input lightwave frequency, is proposed. Performances of this system under open-loop and closed-loop operation are experimentally demonstrated.
