In this paper, various types of optical fiber sensors developed for SHM of civil infrastructures are briefly introduced. More than 10 practical bridge monitoring systems are presented. Finally, some development and application standardization activities are also given. Moreover, some directions of researches and applications have been recommended. Article not available.
