Long Period Fiber Grating Temperature Sensor System Based on the Intensity Modulation

Abstract

A long period fiber grating (LPFG) temperature sensor system based on the intensity modulation with a resolution of 0.1ºC is developed. The LPFG employed is fabricated by the focused CO2 laser beam carving periodic grooves on the fiber.
