A Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of the Effective Gas Absorption Path Length Exhibited By an Integrating Sphere Containing CO2

Abstract

An investigation of the effective gas absorption path length experienced by CO2 at 1.6 m in an integrating sphere is shown. A 5cm diameter integrating sphere is shown to possess an effective path length of ~1m.
