Matched filter referencing technique for Fresnel-reflection-based fiber-optic temperature sensor

Abstract

We use matched athermal FBG filters to reference the output of Fresnel-reflection-based fiber-optic temperature sensor. The reference FBG near the sensor head represents the intensity fluctuation from the light source and the fiber-optic link effectively.
