CO2 Sensor with FBG Tuned Laser in 2µm Region

Abstract

A FBG tuned laser operating in the 2 µm region was developed and used in a spectroscopic CO2 optical fiber sensor. The high power (100 mW) allows the system to be operated at distances beyond 1 km.
