Distributed SBS Sensing in a Silicon-Chalcogenide Platform

Abstract

We report a distributed Brillouin scattering measurement in a silicon-chalcogenide hybrid platform with a controlled width variation. We confirm 2 mm spatial resolution using Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis (BOCDA) technique in the waveguide.
