A large capacity multiplexing distributed sensing based on randomly distributed characteristic parameters FBG array

Abstract

We developed a large multiplexing capacity randomly distributed characteristic parameters (RDCP)-FBG array for distributed sensing applications. Large-scale multiplexing of 10000 FBGs along a 10m-long fiber is achieved, equivalent to 1mm spatial resolution.
