Brillouin/Erbium Fiber Laser and Applications in Interferometric Fiber Sensors

Abstract

A Brillouin/erbium fiber laser (BEFL) which uses 4-m erbium-doped fiber as both the Brillouin gain and linear gain media is presented and its applications in an interferometric fiber sensor are investigated.
