Fabrication and Sensing Application of Nano Gratings Milled on the Body of Conventional Optical Fiber by FIB Method

Abstract

We demonstrate the fabrication of nano-gratings on the core of conventional optical fiber by focused ion-beam milling. The proposed grating device can have multitude of applications, where refractive-index sensing is demonstrated in this work.
